ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE LUNCHEON Staged annually in the spring     Starting in 1989, the Kiwanis Club of Jacksonville has sponsored annual awards to honor the top scholars from the five city high schools: Illinois School for the Deaf, Illinois School for the Visually Impaired, Jacksonville High School, Routt Catholic High School and Westfair Christian Academy.   Each school submits the names of its top student scholars and our Club prepares plaques for each. The students and their parents are invited to our Academic Excellence Luncheon to be honored for their efforts.
