SALVATION ARMY
TREE OF LIGHTS

Helping with their annual fundraiser

Providing volunteers to man the kettles during this annual fundraiser has been a Kiwanis project for many years. We are typically stationed at Wal-Mart, County Market and FoodCo. In December 2000, our Club responded to the challenge to fill all of the bell-ringing shifts for a second day as well. The extra manpower allowed the Salvation Army to avoid having to pay for bell ringers, increasing its net gain from the event.
