of the Month Program

- Once a month
during the school year Kiwanis honors a Student of the Month
at North School.

- Teachers in
each of 15 classrooms select the recipient. Kiwanis presents
each with a customized recognition certificate. In addition,
each recipient has a sign placed on the front of his or her locker
that says "Student of the Month" and the month in which
the award was presented. These signs stay on the lockers for
the rest of the school year.

- Two of the 15
students each month are chosen by the North administration to
attend a Kiwanis meeting and be recognized in from of the membership.
